Dmitry Bertman and Baku are closely connected by creativity. However, it was the first time, when Dmitry Bertman produced an opera by Azerbaijani composer. Permanent Bertman’s coauthors set designer Harmuth Schoerghofer and costume designer Karin Chrome (Austria), conductor Vladimir Ponkin and choreographer Edwald Smirnov took part in the production together with Dmitry Bertman.
Frangiz Alizade, composer, pianist, theorist of music, pedagogue. The sphere of her professional interests is music of classics of musical avant-garde of the XXth century. As a composer Alizade worked with the leading world’s performers, especially with cellists: Ivan Monighetti, Jo-Jo Ma, Mstislav Rostropovich, David Geringas. In 2007 Frangiz Alizade became the Director of Composers Union of Azerbaijani.

"Intizar" opera was finished in 2009. Libretto was written by Nargis Pashayeva, professor, public figure, rector of Moscow State University branch in Baku, Artistic Director of UNS theatre, "Intizar" is a scale opera, the patriotic plot of which depicts the struggle of folk characters for the freedom of their homeland.
